Is there a way to read Oracle table with Lat/Long real time data into GeoEvent server and map it on to Portal showing the Real-time location of the features? Or Can anybody guide me how to achieve this?

I tried creating map events  from the Oracle and published the events file as dynamic service layer onto portal. But I found that it pulls in records to a certain time peroid UTC time lag issues etc..

Hello Susan -

Please refer to the following thread:  GeoEvent process  Oracle/SQL connector

GeoEvent Server, as it is referred to now at 10.5 and 10.5.1 (vs. GeoEvent Processor or GeoEvent Extension for Server) assumes that a feature service will provide an interface to a feature class in a geodatabase. Additional detail and options are discussed in the referenced thread.
