How to create an Output for ArcMap for Desktop Tracking Analyst Extension using ArcGIS GeoEvent Processor?
An output connector for Tracking Analyst is shown in the Adam Mollenkoph presentation but I am unable to find any references on how to create such a connector.

We were originally planning on releasing an output connector for Tracking Analyst at the 10.2.x releases but in testing with early adopters we identified significant issues that we could not overcome in the 10.2.x time frame due to impedance mismatches between GeoEvent Processor and Tracking Analyst.  The GeoEvent Processor team is planning on being able to connect an ArcGIS Desktop client to a live streaming output from GeoEvent Processor at the next major release, ArcGIS 11.  In the meantime you can use 'Add a Feature'/'Update a Feature' output connectors to write data from GeoEvent Processor to Feature Services (with Time) and have your desktop client configured in "live mode" to see the latest known information on the Features.

Hope this information is helpful,

Would I would be better served by keeping our existing Tracking Server instance up and running and feed the Tracking Server Mananger's "Generic Input Link" from a GeoEvent Processor "Publish text to a TXP Socket" output, thus maintaining the symbology, time and track functionality the Tracking Server Tracking Connection provides?  If so, is it possible to create an output in GeoEvent Processor, "Publish text on a TCP Socket" to a separate virtual server from the one ArcGIS for Server is on?  The Server Port field in the advanced settings will not accept a syntax like 10.60.8.39:5555; the goal to send the text to a virtual server with an IP address of 10.60.8.39 and port 5555.
