Hi there! i am trying to process IFC with infrastructure entities (coming from Civil 3d) in GeoBIM, but the sync job always fails without telling a lot about the why. They load correctly in the ACC and geolocation information is included in the flies. Are these files supported at all? They load correctly in ArcGIS.

I am aslo trying to process IFC2x3 with Building Element Proxy entitites in with GeoBIM. Same Result. ArcGIS Pro working.

Hi,

IFC 4.3 will be supported with the June 2023 release of ArcGIS GeoBIM. We've successfully tested many IFC files coming from Civil 3D.

IFC 2x3 is actually supported in GeoBIM, but there are of course many variations of IFC files. I presume you have an associated .prj file with the same name or as esri_cad.prj in the same folder in ACC. Let me know if you have any questions for that.

We would love to give it a try some of your IFC 4.3 files in GeoBIM before the release. If you wish, you can share your IFC 4.3 and your problematic IFC 2x3 file with us - only for test purposes. I'll share my email address via direct message.

Thanks

Ozgur

Seems like you don't have PM (private message / direct message) enabled. If you enable it I can send you my email address, or you can send me your contact details, in case you would like to share your IFC models.
