ArcGIS for SharePoint provides a convenient and new way for us to map data and organize files. What's unique to ArcGIS for SharePoint are the Geotag and Geosearch, and Dynamic Data filtering features. Geotag and geosearch documents can also been done in Teams. This video demonstrates how to map data from SharePoint lists or ArcGIS, working with layers, basemap change, adding infographics cards, using search tool to quickly find a place that we are interested in, measure tool to help understand how the features are numerically distributed among each other and connect to the real world, ring buffer analysis, share map, and more importantly the unique Geotag and geosearch and Dynamic data filtering features.
To summarize, ArcGIS for SharePoint allows us to visualize data, conduct spatial analysis, organize and search for files, interact map using SharePoint list and share our content while keeping a perfect balance between GIS and the Microsoft 365 Ecosystem.
