XY Event Layer w/in ArcGIS Server Dynamic Map Service

Hi,

We're trying to interact with an XY Event Layer in the ArcGIS Web Part.  Is this possible? 

When we add the XY Event Layer to the map, the points appear but the "map table" below is blank, only showing the field headers.
