Using Feature Service (hosted on ArcGIS Online) in ArcGIS Map Web Part

I'm created a feature service which is used to draw 3 types of polygon. When I use this feature service using the Map Web of the ArcGIS Online, It's fine to create any feature (using templates of the feature service) on the map and after that the feature will be auto saved.

However when I use this feature service in the ArcGIS Map Web part, there is a problem to save the features that are created by using template of the feature services. Whenever I refresh the ArcGIS Map Web Part, or refresh the web page, all the created features are gone.

I think that the problem is not about the feature service, because it works fine in the Map Web of the ArcGIS Online. So the problem could be about ArcGIS Map Web Part.

Anyone has a solution for this problem? please help me!

Hi Anh,

Could you try clicking "Apply" or "OK" on the ArcGIS Map Web Part properties pane prior to refreshing the page? As with any SharePoint web part, all changes are lost unless you have clicked "Apply" in the properties pane.

Thanks for your answer! But I did as you said but the features are still not saved.

Now there is one more problem I want to need your help.
At the time I create this thread, when I add the feature layers in my feature service to the "Map contents" in my ArcGIS Map Web Part, then I navigate to the "Add Features" and in this panel there are feature templates of the added feature layer so that I can draw these features on the map.

However, now I cannot do that anymore. When I repeat the process of adding feature layers in my feature service to the map, I don't see any feature templates in the "Add Features" anymore, therefore I cannot draw these features on the map.

I have created many different feature service hosted on the ArcGIS Online. And no one in these feature services can provide me capability to draw features on the ArcGIS Map Web Part.

It's strange that, the first time I did add a feature service to the ArcGIS Map Web Part, I can draw features on the map (but the features are not saved)
And now I even cannot draw features on the map (because there is no feature template in the "Add Features")

I would appreciate if my problems are solved.

Hi Anh,

I'm assuming that all of your feature classes have been enabled for editing? If so, then also verify that you have specifically configured editing for each individual layer within the ArcGIS Map Web Part.
