I am attempting to add ArcGIS mapping SharePoint 1.1.1 to SharePoint Foundation 2010 on 2008 Server. I can not get the "spconfigutility" to install. I am using "spconfigutility -install http://wbe2008Server2:23649 -path c:\downloads\ArcGIS_Sharepoint\ESRI.ArcGIS.WebParts.wsp". I get "Service Windows SharePoint Services Administration V4 was not found on computer '-'- ".

Any ideas as to why this is happening. After doing all the other install and configuration steps i am able to avtivate the ESRI Base Map and it as a WebPart on a new page but it has no items. I can add a new item but it will ask for a web address (which I do not know).

Any ideas out there?

Spconfigutility cannot be used to install ArcGIS Mapping for SharePoint on SharePoint 2010.  The issue is that version 1.1.1 was released when SharePoint 2010 was in beta, and the SharePoint 2010 administration and timer services changed at the final version.

For deployment to SharePoint 2010, alternative instructions are included in the Welcome to ArcGIS Mapping for SharePoint pdf document that is included with the download.  Look for the section entitled "Setup Instructions - SharePoint Foundation 2010 and SharePoint Server 2010."

If your version of the welcome document does not include this information, you can get the latest from http://resources.esri.com/sharepoint/index.cfm?fa=downloads.
