ArcGIS for Office is not working for me

Been trying to get it work for the last fortnight!  Esri Helpdesk is trying to solve the issue for me.  Do the Esri teams pilot test these things?

We definitely pilot these things, test them, use them in our own work, and currently have a few thousand customers using the component in Excel that was just released last month. 

That said, we know computers can be hard. To best help you, let me know what exact error you are seeing. You can also direct message me the case number so I can follow up with Support. 

Aside from that, make sure you are on Office 2019 or newer.

I've just about given up.  As an example, when I open an attribute table in ArcGIS Pro 3.3.3, why is the "add" icon greyed out?  I've spent a lot of time of the last 12 months trying to resolve problems like this.  Very exasperating!
