I use ArcGIS for Excel(version 2025.3.0.0.54) in Microsoft Excel(version 2510).
As the title suggests, values which is set domains and feature templates have strange movements.
Is this expected behavior? I often use coded-value domain and feature templates in ArcGIS Online, so this strange behavior annoy for me.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Crate a new hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online.
  2. Set coded value domain.

  3. Set symbols to "When to use Types (unique symbols)" in Map Viewer.
Just only set fields and color.
  4. Edit and save  "Configure Editing" > "template" of Map viewer.

  5. Add the layer in ArcGIS for Excel.
Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. I attached the mp4 fie.

Good afternoon @hitsujir_dev,

After testing the workflow provided, I am unable to reproduce any issues, either in ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS for Excel. I suspect if this isn't consistently reproducible, we may be dealing with a step in the workflow that varies each time data is set up. We could do some housekeeping such as clearing browser cache and also try process of elimination to see if the issue occurs in ArcGIS Online or in ArcGIS for Excel. This would help dictate which one of our Esri teams would assist further.

Here is the link for ArcGIS Online community as a follow up resource. Also, if you happen to isolate the workflow and reproduce the issue again, feel free to post again or send another video. This was helpful!

Till next time,

SC
