Effective with the ArcGIS Online release in Q1 2026, Esri will no longer support SIC-based business summary data. To ensure continued access to industry classification information, we recommend transitioning to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes and descriptions.
This change will affect several Esri products, including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Location Platform, ArcGIS Business Analyst, and Esri Demographics. If you currently use SIC codes and descriptions through any of these products, please be aware of this change.
