ArcGIS for Excel 2023.1.0.0.10 – Updates and bug fixes

Hello everyone,

We are excited to share the latest update for ArcGIS for Excel 2023.1.0.0.10 which has a new feature update, bug fixes, and quality of mapping improvements. 

If you do not see the changes, you may need to refresh or close Excel and restart it.  

You can expect to see the following - 

In ArcGIS for Excel, these commands will appear in the form of context menu commands in the Excel ribbon. Highlight any row using data in a table and the Map Data ribbon will appear with Zoom to and Select buttons.

Implementation of the ‘right-click’ menu commands, Go to location and Select on map as previously used in ArcGIS for Office.

 Bugs Fixed: 

  1. Fixed color picker selection using the Labels and clustering tab.  
  2. Fixed incomplete parameter options when using Function builder UI in an ArcGIS Enterprise environment. 
  3. Fixed issue with disabled continue button to access public content in sign in screen.  
  4. Fixed the ArcGIS Connection URL UI dropdown switching back to the previous option.  
  5. Fixed empty task pane when opening a persisted map from offline ArcGIS Enterprise. 
  6. Fixed error when translating distance unit in FINDROUTEBYADDRESS and FINDROUTE.  
  7. Fixed labeling using zipcode label field for polygon layers in pivot tables. 

Quality of Mapping: 

  1. Enhanced Search engine capabilities to increase search results and improve search engine results. 
  2. Update to the UI/UX Ribbon icons. 
  3. Update Excel logical values to include TRUE and FALSE which will display in additional languages. 

Feature updates: 

  1. Implementation of the Context menu commands, Zoom to and Select. 
  2. Update to the Getting Started opening pages. 

As you use the add-in, you will begin to enjoy the many bug fixes, quality improvements, and new feature updates that we hope will make your mapping experience much easier.
