The engineers and survey crew at my company all work in ground coordinates. I am able to take their DWG drawings into ArcPro and use the Transform CAD layers tool no problem when needing to create maps to add to our AGOL. Although, we would love to implement the ArcGIS plugin in Civil3D to access the various basemaps, living atlas data and other data available through this plugin. Since we work in ground, I have to create a custom projection in ArcPro for GIS layers and rasters to account for the scale factor. It would be super helpful if the ArcGIS plugin for AutoCAD would come with a tool similar to the Transform CAD layers tool in ArcPro. This way, the engineers would be able to transform the layers themselves rather than waiting on the GIS team to upload it to our AGOL.
