I would like to see an option in Site Scan Flight to export pre/post flight checklists (e.g., as a PDF) and/or go through a print alternative.
I work for a regulatory agency, and as with most governmental agencies, we have specific documentation content, retention and accessibility requirements. The content that we need seems, for the most part, fairly well covered in the Site Scan platform. However, our documents need to be readily available to Department staff (UAV Workgroup, program area, enforcement and legal personnel) as well as the public (through the Freedom of Information Act requests). The checklists must be promptly available to all these entities upon their request.
Currently, there seems to be no method in Site Scan by which we can provide these documents to internal staff or the public. As a result, we are resorting to a paper checklist and then paper filing and/or scan for e-filing. Other options for us outside of Site Scan would be to develop our own electronic checklist or go with another vendor for fleet management options- would prefer to keep everything in one package, though.
