As Esri are platform agnostic, please can you create an Android version of Site Scan app. Based on its history and that Esri purchased it from 3DR, I realise why it is currently only available on iOS devices, however it is an important application for all users who use Drone2Map and related software. Even Quick Capture integrates with Site Scan to leverage the ability for capturing data.

Sounds good Marvyn, I will add you to the beta list and also reach out by phone to discuss details. Looking forward to working with you on this.

Hi @BrentPierce, what is the status on the development of  an Android version of Site Scan Flight? Is the beta available for selected customers?

Hi @BrentPierce and @NicoBonnafoux

Any news about the android version of Site Scan Flight app? Do We have some beta release  comming?

thanks

NickWilliams

We are also very interested in an Android version of this App, that we are hoping might make it easier for Site Scan to communicate with our Mavic 3 Enterprise drones for flight planning.

@BrentPierce i just registered on this portal and was about to inquire about the android version progress as i run DJI Enterprise Drones for mapping and inspection. I run about 60+ flights monthly, from 100-400+ acres, 30min - 1hr flight logs each, sometimes 3-4 flights of this scale in a day. The smart controller takes a beating in the heat and elements that the ipad could not withstand without failure. Going into 2025 we are investing in the waterproof M30T to expand into the solar verticals and allow operation in any of the elements. If ok, i would love to be able to provide feedback once the beta is live. I have begun expanding my operations and partnering with a few vendors and am now evaluating arcgis, with possibility to move my entire operations onto the site scan platform. Provided flight can be made available for the remotes, it makes my decision to fully base my operations in esri alot easier.

Hi Jakim,

Thanks for reaching out. Our goal is to support the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise first and then we will focus on other drones shortly after that. Please send your contact info to bpierce@esri.com and I will be sure to add you to our beta list and keep you informed as to our progress.

Hi @BrentPierce I sent my info over. Looking forward to watching the ESRI dev team grow. This will be a huge win for the daily drone pilots who have invested in the DJI ecosystem with the M3E at the head of most of our workflows.

BrentPierce

Thanks Jakim and thanks for your interest. Just a point of clarification we are not in beta yet and probably won't be until late into the fall but excited to be supporting the M3E soon.
