Based on a conversation at the UC I understand there is a potential 'Advanced Inspection Mode' in the works that may allow users to set waypoints and points of interest with automated gimbal heading and pitch. This is very exciting. We currently use Litchi for all cinematic aerial video and photos. One of the unique things you can do in Litchi is a' cable cam' flight. It allows you to control the momentum of the drone, while direction, heading, and gimbal pitch can be automated. You can use one stick to move forward/reverse along the flight path from waypoint to waypoint. This allows users to have 100% control of if the drone is moving, while not having to worry about capturing quality data. It's safe and easy. We love it. If there is any chance that can be included in the new "advanced inspection mode" idea that would be wonderful.
