When will "Work Force" functionality be integrated into Field Maps for assigning work?

We are trying to decide if we should implement Workforce or wait until it is part of Field Maps. Staff are only just beginning to use field maps and we are using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9 on Azure.

We also need Work Force to use the old classic map viewer or for the new map viewer to support related tables.

Is there a road map somewhere?

Thanks!

@FionaRenton1 we're in the midst of the project for Workforce to be included in Field Maps.  Timeline wise, this will be available in Online mid-late 2023.  The functionality will be available in the Enterprise release that follows its inclusion in Online.

Is mid-late 2023 still the target for this?

@CraigGillgrass It appears the timeline has changed and Workforce has still not been integrated into Field Maps. Do you have an update on when this will happen?

Hi @OliverIshmael

Thank you for your interest in this capability in Field maps. We understand that this has been a long-awaited, and we appreciate your patience.

We have been actively working on enhancing the to-do list functionality as a whole as we bring this capability into Field Maps, including adding the unassigned feature, enabling custom fields and form logic, facilitating custom status options, and simplifying the overall model for easier integration patterns. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience within Field Maps while addressing the most requested features.

We are excited to share that we have a private tech preview available for these new capabilities. If you are interested in gaining access to the tech preview, please email us at arcgisfieldmaps@esri.com, and our team will provide you with further details on how to get started.

The current ETA for when this will be released with Field Maps is aligned with the Feb 2025 release of AGOL.

Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Best,

Heather

Thank you so much for the updates on this! It is a much awaited feature.

I have recently started just creating a separate feature layer with the fields similar to Workforce assignments and working with the Field Maps forms, it's a solid solution for now, but I am excited to see the upcoming functionality.

Heather,

Any updates on the WorkForce/Field Maps integration timeline? Would really like to get going with the new and avoid the old, or migrating from the old.

Also, there are many Solutions that seam to WorkForce. Will this also be part of the integration? To update the Solution to work with the new?

I really don't rebuilding from scratch unless it is a complete necessity.

Thanks in advance for your insight. 😊
