I have published a map with subtype group layers. I have also set up an offline map area.
the map honours the scale based visibility rules but the offline area doesn’t.
what am I doing wrong? Any ideas?

Found a solution/workaround.
For the scale based visibility to work in offline map, the scale range (under Symbology options) needs to be set as well.
I set visibility on each subtype layer in Visible Scale Range under Layer Properties.
This works well in the webmap and the online fieldmap.
What made it work in the offline fieldmap was a combination of the above and the settings below.
