Offline Field Map - SD-Card access?

I have an MMPK map with water lines. Each line has an attribute that links to an image on our intranet server (e.g., http://server/image1.jpg). The user needs to access these links while in the field, but since they are disconnected, the links will not work. Is it possible to set the path to a local SD card instead? I am considering copying the files to the SD card and then opening them from the local path. The path to the folder would be: SD Card\Android\data\com.esri.fieldmaps\files\AsBuilt\Image1.jpg. Is this possible? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for this great question. Unfortunately the way the app is set up, it can't reach out to other parts of the device file system, including an SD card. If attachments are saved with a feature, they can be downloaded on to your device for work offline. I understand that you aren't using attachments, that this is linking back to a server/file share, so that might not be helpful. But for off line work, using attachments is really the best advice I can give. I hope this is helpful.

I tried this many years ago but the sd card name is different on every device so it never works out.

Best we do is PDF files of photos for that site named the same as the location id.
