Hi all

I have a hosted feature layer in Enterprise Portal that was created from a Feature Layer template (Bridge Inspection specifically).  When I try to enter a point in the Field Maps app manually (long press on the screen -> collect here), I get an error that says 'Unable to copy geometry.  The source feature doesn't have altitude'  Has anyone seen this?  I can successfully add a point using the current location however...any ideas?

Thanks

Mike

Is your layer Z-aware?

Is there no way to work around this and glean an z value from the map or some other source?  Or is it possible to use a z-enabled feature layer and default the z-value to 0 if not available -- ala how you can publish a feature layer from Pro?

You could create a point feature class, using the same template as your original dataset (if required).

Has Z = Yes

In Environments setting of the tool, define the default value of Z-value as 0.

Then you could Share a web feature layer.
