Issues since the latest update

Field Maps have been acting odd since I started noticing the changes from the new update.

There seems to be more restrictions on field entering, offline map download size...

Earlier I had trouble downloading a layer to the map and the log showed "error code 21 invalid json" but in fact it was for the size of the download. I disabled attachment download and used a local basemap from the device and the maps downloaded successfully. Not sure what the code 21 was really about.

Right now I'm experiencing not being able to insert a new record on a mobile device from "The form contains unsupported data" while I'm not too sure what the unsupported data is.

In fact I deleted the form items one by one and saved to map to see what was causing the problem and I it was still letting me add anything when I only had the last form item left (it's just an integer switch).

These seem to be new issues that I haven't encountered before.

Has anyone else noticed any odd behaviours from Field Maps recently?

We had a user on an Android phone get the "This form contains unsupported data" error for every data collection layer in the map after the update. These are data collection template layers that have been used without error by the same user in other field maps without issue. I do not get the same error in that map on my iPhone.

Update:

The user who was having this problem resolved it by updating the Field Maps app on her phone.

HOWEVER, we are now having the same problem with another field map and it's happening for everyone including me. The layer behaves normally in the online map, and the offline map can be packaged, downloaded and synced, but this is what you see when you try to add a feature:

We have crews in the field right now and this is a real problem.

After a bunch of troubleshooting, it appears the new attachment question is the culprit. When I remove it, the problem goes away. I have tried both a general attachment type and a media attachment type. If either is present, the offline map shows the "The form contains unsupported data" error. I have confirmed this on two different layers. I have also tried reinstalling field maps and recreating both the forms and the maps from scratch. The only thing that works is removing the attachment question. Unfortunately, we need attachments and we need to collect them offline.
