The layer is hosted on arcgis online. It is visible online and on arcgis pro, but doesn't load in the field maps.
I've recently changed the schema, added a field and also adjusted the domain for a different field.
I've made sure all the sharing options and apps are enabled.
The error message from the app is:
Map:
fieldmaps_test2

Layer:
TreesLouisville Tree Inventory _Private__WFL2

Domain:
ARCGIS_RUNTIME

Code:
10012

Description:
Unknown error.

URL:
https://services9.arcgis.com/2WPY0g0NYKs6DzKS/arcgis/rest/services/TreesLouisville_Tree_Inventory__P...

I'm beginning to think the best solution will be to save the layer online and then reuploading and associating it?

Good afternoon. After making all those changes that you mentioned to the layer, did you save your map again? I would start there and see if that fixes the issue.

I thought I had. But I'm still new to GISonline.
I've also had two really experienced people look at things and they're stumped too. We're thinking it's time to just create a new clean layer and what my ps and qs going forward.

I would recommend you start by opening the map and hitting save, then do a quick test to see if you are still seeing the error. If so, then you can recreate your layer. Any time you make schema changes or any changes to the layer, it's always a good idea to open up your map and save the map. And if you have created any offline areas for that map, you will want to update those as well. If you do have offline areas, you can read more about managing them here: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/take-maps-offline.htm If you don't have offline areas, you can ignore that last bit. Hope this helps.
