I have created a WebMap that supports a Field Maps application. The collection efforts are evolving, and we now have 2 different groups that are collecting / editing data using this application. However, group 1 wants features XYZ on by default, and group 2 wants features ABC on by default. Aside from creating 2 different WebMaps for the 2 different groups, is there a creative way to potentially show different layers on by default for the different groups within the same WebMap?
I feel I know the answer to this, and that I just need to make 2 different WebMaps for the 2 different groups, but I wanted to ping the Field Maps group and see if anyone has done anything creative to this effect.
With WebApp Builder Dev, you could alter some code in the backend, and the layers that you had selected as displaying on/off when you closed the web page were the layers that were turned on/off next time you opened the application. I wasn't sure if there was something that could be added to the WebMap where it could 'remember' the layer selections upon closing and re-opening.
