Field maps crashing when selecting feature layer. Android

Field maps is consistently crashing on android devices when a particular feature layer is selected.  Same map and feature service works fine on collector . Arcade expressions are present on the layer using featuresets.

I discovered that the maps that are having the crashing issue only crash when the editable feature layers are drawn.  I opened the map while at home (which is outside of the area where the features are located) and the map opens at my current location and everything works fine.  However, the moment I move the map to a position where the features would appear in the view (either by zooming to extent via the layer list or by manually moving the map), the Field Maps app crashes.

Sounds like we're both having the same issue. Have you found a way to resolve it? Esri support suggested just creating a new web map and loading in the data layers again as it's likely to be the web map that is the issue. Obviously a lot of work for web maps which have a lot of customisation in the Field Maps web app, but if it works then at least that's one way forward.

Yes, creating a new map and loading the data layers in again will work. However, without knowing what is causing the issue, making a new map is not a solution as you could be putting in a lot of work into recreating all the customization featured on a map only for the issue to happen again randomly on the new map!
