When you recreate the offline areas in field maps designer, the expected behavior on the phone app is that the offline areas already downloaded on people's phones are then prompted to redownload the recreated offline area.
As of the beginning of this week, it is not doing that, as it normally has been for the last two years. Was this a planned or unplanned change on Esri's end? If it was an unplanned change, then I want to report this as a bug.
Now, my team has to remove their existing offline areas, and then download it again, rather then just being prompted to download/update. Now, I can't guarantee that everyone in the field is working off of the same form version since they have to manually remove and redownload.
For the last two years, every time I would update the form, repackage the offline area, I would be confident that my team would be using the same form since it would prompt them to download the new updated recreated map package for their existing offline area.
