Within Field Maps when producing offline map areas, we would like to be able to use an existing polygon e.g. of an existing Nature Reserve with a buffer added (that we previously produced in Pro).

It looks as though this isn't possible because polygons have to be drawn within the Field Maps Designer, rather than loaded in.

Does anyone know if there is a workaround for this?

Hi @OliverIshmael ,

At the Esri UC, the Field Maps team presented on using python notebooks with a polygon feature layer to create offline maps in Field Maps. If you access to the conference proceedings, it was presented in this session "ArcGIS Field Maps: Automating and Integrating Mobile Workflows"

The notebook is here for download/reference.

https://github.com/Esri/field-maps-scripts

I haven't tried it, but hopefully it is useful if you haven't seen this.

Thanks,

Kathy
