ArcGIS Collector to Fields Apps - Location?

Hello,

Please see screenshot. Using ArcGIS Collector window on laptop. We have staff use this and don't use mobile device. The location is important to them when collect data. Is there other similar app when the collector retired? I checked with ArcGIS fields apps but it is required mobile device. Please kindly advise. Thank you. Alex

Hi Alex,

One option would be to use Survey123 Connect to create a custom form for your existing feature service. You could then add a map, and use pulldata to display lat-long. Survey123 has a Windows version, while Field Maps does not. @TravisSizemore Thank you. I understand. I looked into it and I don't think they have this specific type of lat and long like this example: 26.090144, -86.062784. Not sure if I am missing.

There is an option for returning decimal coordinates. If you scroll down on this page: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/geopoints.htm

To the section that says "

• Geopoints can also be returned as degrees and decimal minutes using pulldata("@geopoint",${location},"DDM"), or as decimal degrees using pulldata("@geopoint",${location},"DD"). These are also returned as JSON objects and can have individual values extracted with additional parameters in the same manner as the degrees, minutes, and seconds format above."

I would try experimenting with that.
