Android vs iOS Field App Behavior: GUID Field Not Populating from GlobalID

Hi all,

I am using 'add new feature' reference context to create a new feature, prepopulated with fields from an existing point.

The two layers do not have a relationship. The GlobalID from the existing point is successfully parsed through to the GUID field of the new point when using an iOS device, it does not work on android.

I have tried stripping the brackets (see this post for context), making the GlobalID lower case but it will not write to the GUID field when using an android device. It will however populate in a text field.

Anyone else experienced disparities like this when using an android device? Any idea on a possible solution? It is a key part of our field users workflow and we have 50/50 split of iOS and Android users.

This has been fixed as a part of the new fieldmaps update (version 25.2.1)
