Retain information put into fields for quicker data collection

Field maps should have the ability to natively retain or auto-populate the last used values across sessions or features by default. When using other software like Trimble, this is done by default. It would allow field workers to more quickly gather gps points especially when collecting many in a sequence.

Some of these simple things really make the best ideas. What kind of information do you want to persist? Are you looking for something beyond what you could do with specific editing templates for field workers to use to create new features?

I believe the capability may already exist if you know how to setup the calculation/attribute rule.
