i recently had a field crew accidentally delete the field maps app from the device they were using. they were using offline maps at the time so the data had not been synct.
it would be nice if there was a cache folder created at least containing the mobile GDB as a back up possibility.
or perhaps an email prompt to attach the mobile gdb.
