We would love to be able to implement select multiple type questions in Field Maps. We currently have a use case where field staff need to select multiple types of waste found on a site and record contextual information for each one.

This is the current design in Survey123, but we would love to migrate this all into one single app instead of using Collector for visibility in the field, and Survey for collecting the data.

After six years (possibly more) of asking for multi-select in Field Maps, we’re still waiting! Field workers need to log multiple  types of info for a field and various other reasons, but instead, they’re stuck bouncing between Survey123 for data and another app for field visibility. Not only is this something asked for by GIS professionals, but the customers, departments, and others we all serve want to use Field Maps.

Can believe after how high a priority and requested this feature is we’re still dealing with being forced into Survey123.

Frankly, I find it a bit odd we still need to wait for such functionality. I haven't bothered checking, but I believe an Esri employee has asked some questions about the need for this and how we want this to work. Although these are fair questions, I'm not sure why they are asked. This functionality is available in Survey123, why not ask that dev-team?

As mentioned many times before, it is very unhandy there seem to be many different dev-teams for each product not communicating. We as users of the platform use all products every day and it is getting increasingly difficult having to adapt to different behaviours for different products. It would be wonderful to have the same logic across all products. This multiple options idea is a great example of products being developed completely separetely (at least that seems to be the case from the outside).

Please, Esri, fix this.
