Explorer for ArcGIS - Android Update?

A while back, Explorer for ArcGIS on iOS was updated and included some pretty significant changes to the app, especially with regards to finding and navigating content. Does anyone know if there is a timeline to upgrade the Android app with similar changes?

Unfortunately, our organization is a mix of Android and iOS and teaching classes in this mixed environment is .... crazy hard.
