How does one share a map presentation with the auto advance set to, say 5 seconds?
I tried setting the auto advance in the the Presentation Options, then clicking Details > Share > Presentation copy, but the auto advance doesn't come through in the link.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I've just tested this and it works for me - when i paste the copied link into another browser window the application starts in presentation mode and then runs automatically.  Can you share your map so that i can try it?

I was just using a presentation that I found in the gallery.  When I did the Details > Share > Presentation copy (after setting the presentation options) I get:

http://explorer.arcgis.com/?present=a5c32856ea72499f950801554ea0dc17

Thanks for helping me with this!

The reason that this presentation does not run automatically is because Auto-advance is set to None in the presentation options (see the attached screenshot).

Thanks so much for replying to me.  I actually had set that Auto advance to 5 seconds before doing the copy, but I realize now that I had to save it as a new file in my folder first.  I was thinking that the link encoded the settings, not the file.  So, the link I had is the original file, not mine.

I think I get it now.  Thank you so much for working w/me on this.
