I was on vacation last week, and now that I'm back I see that the ArcGIS Online main page has changed.  There is no longer a link to ArcGIS Explorer Online, as far as I can tell.  How do I get to AGEO?

Thanks,

Allen

Allen,

One way is to go to http://www.arcgis.com and towards the bottom click the "Map" hyperlink to the right of "Maps for Personal Use"

Good luck!

There is no "Maps for Personal Use" on the screen I get at www.arcgis.com.  I think that's what it looked like before last week.  I'm attaching a screen shot of what I get now.  Clicking on "Make a Map" takes me to the standard map viewer.  Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks,

Allen

The blog post makes me quite nervous.  It looks like this is a back-door way to remove Explorer Online.

I hope Explorer Online is not going away.  I use it in university classes that I teach and for which I provide support.  The query tool and presentation feature are unique and make this a much better introduction to ArcMap than the standard ArcGIS.com map viewer.

I'm right in the middle of working with several faculty members on "GIS enhancement" to their non-GIS, non-Geography courses.  Explorer Online is a central tool for us.  I need to know whether it will be there in the future or not.
