I have an MXD which was previously linked to layers on a server, some of which were shapefiles and others in a geodatabase. This data has been moved from the server so when I open the MXD, I get the red exclamation marks beside each layer. I need to re-path these all back to data on a local machine.
Previously if this happened, updating one layer with the exclamation mark (by clicking on the exclamation mark) would automatically update all layers which were located in the same folder. This no longer happens and I am left with the chore of re-pathing each layer separately.
Can anyone tell me why this no longer works?
