OK all, I am here for my regular session of help to hopefully save hours or trial and error that may or may not work. I'm sure there is probably a reasonable and easy explanation for what I am missing, but I have not been able to figure it out yet. The issue is the fact that I cannot seem to get the popup information to work in ArcGIS Explorer when I click on a point feature on my map. A little background:
* I am using ArcMap 10 to create a layer package that I subsequently upload to my ArcGIS online group and then download into my ArcGIS Explorer map.
* The layer package has 20,000+ point features with associated attribute information.
* Prior to creating/uploading the layer package in ArcMap, I go to the HTML Popup tab in the Layer Properties dialouge box and check the box that says "Show content for this layer using the HTML Popup tool" and I also make sure the radio button is selected to display HTML formatting as a table of the visible fields. When I click on the "Verify" button, the information box pops up exactly as desired.
* I then upload the layer package to my ArcGIS online account, which occurs without errors.
When I download the layer package from ArcGIS online into my ArcGIS Explorer map, everything appears fine. All the point features show up in the right location, but when you click on a feature to get the attribute information to popup, nothing happens. Well, actually it looks like something tries to happen since the little hourglass figure pops up for just a second and then goes away, but no popup information appears.
As I mentioned before, probably something obvious I am missing, but I would certainly appreciate any thoughts, suggestions or comments anyone may have. Thank you in advance for your help.
