Notes in 1500

Hello,

I'm trying to get the notes in ArcGIS Explorer 1500 to print on top of the map. I'm talking about the actual text of the note, not the point/line or polygon it's attached to. The callout box appears but when I go to print or copy-to-clipboard the callouts disappear and I'm left with a meaningless shape or point. I've tried pinning the note but with no joy.

Am I missing something obvious? It seems rather odd that the program has the ability to create these notes but not to print them...

Try right clicking on the Note in the Contents Window then selecting Label > Labels (as opposed to the default MapTips which will disappear when the mouse moves away from them).

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the reply. This method labels the note as 'Note' but doesn't show the text of the note (i.e. that which is recorded in the callout box - the useful bit), if that makes sense.
