Notes don't print, AGX Desktop

Hi:

Am I missing something? When I go to print a map, the notes don't print -- the lines and polygons do, but not the notes I've pinned to the map. I'm using Windows 7 and AGX build 1500. It's just a screen capture, so seems like it should be straightforward???

Thanks for any help on this one.

Hi George,
I've tested on two different machines and can't repro this. I have tried with our symbol sets and then with custom symbols. All are printing fine.
When you see the print dialog do you see the points showing up in the dialog map window? Are you using custom symbols? If so can you provide me with one?

I'll put this to the rest of the team to see if someone has experience with this issue.

As always, thanks for the reply. I'm doing polygons & lines and with popup notes to each. When I print, the lines and polygons show up in the print but not the anchored notes. This is also happening with Vanessa's machine (Windows 7, like mine). However, when you create a slide, it does show the notes but still doesn't print. A Print Screen screen shot captures everything -- notes, lines, poly and they show when pasted into a Word doc.

That's strange in that I understood that all the AGX print function did was essentially a screen shot.

I'll ask Vanessa for some more detail. She was still having the problem today but hadn't time to troubleshoot.

Here's two examples. The first is using the AGX Print function for a map with 1 point, 1 line and one polygon, each with a note popup attached. The second is the same map captured with the Windows 7 Snip tool. I've tried this with several Windows 7 themes (e.g. aero, windows 7 basic) and get the same results.
