I've searched and can't come up with much, so hoping someone can point me in the right direction here.

I'm trying to open files such as these here:
http://cdo.ncdc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/climaps/climaps.pl?directive=order_details&subrnum=&region=Lower%20...

So I've downloaded all of those into a folder, and also renamed the .prj file to match the others.  It opens, but all i see is a very tiny version of the shape.

I don't really know what I'm doing here.  i suspect the issue is with that .prj file, but can someone help me out?  I'm running ArcGIS explorer 2.0.0.1750.

Thanks

Try the attached .prj file.   rename it from .txt to .prj

Thanks, now it's overlayed across the lower 48 as expected.

I was expecting it to show different colors for the different grids, like here:
http://cdo.ncdc.noaa.gov/climaps/temp05c.pdf

I realize now I'll probably need to set that formatting, but don't see how exactly.  Is that possible with the Explorer Desktop?  Can someone point me to a tutorial about this?  I can change color for ALL data, but can't seem to specify different colors for different criteria.

I appreciate the help.

Ah, I see.  You create queries, then format the results of the queries.
