Converting graphics to features in ArcGIS Explorer

Dear all,
  I just wanna know that can I use ArcGIS Explorer to convert the graphics on the map into a featurelayer (shapefile)? Or how can I write a code using SDK (vb 2008) to do this?

There are a few enhancements logged for this including NIM046124 -  Provide editing functionality to create and edit simple features (point, line, polygon) in ArcGIS Explorer.

It also looks like this made it's way into the Ideas site as well- http://ideas.arcgis.com/ideaView?id=08730000000887Z.  Feel free to promote this any other ideas you like!

Hi.  Anyone know if there is anything new in Build 1500 related to this?  The fact that the new Query Tool creates a feature layer makes me wonder.
