I'm running ArcGIS Explorer Desktop 1750 on Windows 7 64-bit. Whenever I try to add any content from ArcGIS Online, it will load the basemap, but won't load any additional layers.
For example, I go to Add Content->ArcGIS Online, and select "Open" on the very first map, "California Missions." It zooms me into southern California and has the "Imagery with Labels" basemap. It also has a "Reference/World_Boundaries_and_places" map that loads labels correctly. However, there is no layer for the actual Missions.
Likewise, if I use a ArcGIS Online map from ESRI "Glacier Retreat in Alaska," it zooms me into Alaska and has a "False Color/Near Infrared (432) 1975-2005" layer, but that is it - nothing else there. I've tried running the presentation and everything - nothing. It's not just these two maps - every map I try is like this.
I've tried this on two different computers with the same results. Is it something wrong with what I'm doing or is there a problem with Explorer/Online?
