I've got a few CSV of location data and associated notes that are feature layers in web map. I've added them to a table in experience builder and use the table to take notes on the features. Sometimes I search in the table for a feature then use the 'zoom to' function.
I've noticed the 'zoom to' function doesn't work if a sort function is applied to the table. I think it is a bug.
I also experienced, If ESRI could fix it this simple bug it would be very useful for audience otherwise frustrating to be frank!!
Happy to look into it. I've been trying to reproduce the issue on my end but I must be missing a step.
Please would you be able to share quick screen recording of your configuration and of the issue you are observing? A step by step to recreate the issue would also be helpful. Thank you!
Unfortunately I've removed it the sort to get the zoom functionality again but here is the setup:
Here's what I've got - a table with 6 sheets that are feature layers (sorry the image cuts off the table below the map). The data is sorted and several fields are hidden under configure fields. The sorting is to populate the table with the fields with data at the top. I've got allow editing on so I can take notes.
Each feature layer is grouped under 'Homes' and represents a different location.
Hi @AKflyer
I also had a try on reproducing the issue with your steps but no luck - here's what I did:
I also covered cases of cluster feature layer, and hide field used for sorting. It is kind of challenging for me to understand the data structure in your case as the screenshots are not quite intact. It would be great if you could add more info to this case (any critical steps I missed, sample public app, screen recording). Thanks!
