Timeline in Experience Builder Incorrectly Shows Datetime

Hi, I'm working in experience builder on a page with a timeline to animate a time-enabled layer. In the original feature layer, the Date field is time-enabled and "Date Only".

However, in ArcGIS Experience, the field incorrectly shows as datetime. There is this clunky looking "MM/DD/YYY, HH:MM:SS" label that pops up on the timeline. The original data does not contain any HH:MM:SS data.

The appearance of this label on the timeline makes the Experience look somewhat sloppy and unprofessional.

Is there some way to remove this label on top of the timeline completely, or at least to have Experience correctly recognize the field as date and not datetime? Is this a bug?

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance!

If its time only or date only, i wonder if its displaying 1980 as if its an epoch date.

Is there an option on the widget to choose the formatting on the .

The other thought that occurs to me is that even if its DATE Only, it still might save as date time, but the time would be 00:00:00 (Assuming UTC time, that 4 PM might be from the timezone offset)

have you already tried what's in here?

https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/11.3/use/configure-time-mv.htm

I was particularly looking at the section "Configure time slider options in a map"

Unless I'm misreading it, the timeline itself can be hidden, but not the thing at the top that shows the current time entry?
