Table widget not allowing editing for main layer but allows it for the sub-layers. The data sheet configuration is se the same for both layers

I am having an issue with the table widget in one of my experience builder apps since the last update on February. I have two layers and a related table in the widget. They are all configured the same to allow editing on most fields. However the widget is only working correctly for the sub-layer and the related table. The table view for the main table shows all the fields as locked, despite being configured to allow editing.
