Hi,
we're experiencing what I think is a bug (or certainly unexpected behavior) with a Smart Form in the Map Viewer where the edit tool isn't enabled for some users. When these users use the same form in the edit widget in ExB, the widget container will load but it's blank. In both cases the editor worked fine for myself (author/owner) and IT colleagues with Admin roles.
The smart form also works for these users in other, simpler Map Viewer sessions with less data
This is on an editable hosted FS in the 10.9 enterprise environment, in the new Map Viewer
After a lot of testing it turns out that if there are ANY layers in the map viewer that the user doesn't have access to (including tables), then this disables the editor/smart form. If these layers are removed then the smart form functionality and the edit widget in exB work fine. This includes layers that are passive and just used as reference layers.
I expect the app's to throw an warning if the user can't load a layer due to permissions issues, but if these layers/tables aren't integral to the functionality of the app then I'm surprised that it disables the forms.
Wondering if any one has experienced a similar issue.
