Hi all,

I have built a sort of "data manager" application which the user will access and be able to edit only certain fields in a feature layer. Right now I have this set up so that they can edit by selecting a record in a table and edit in an editing pane widget on experience builder

One of the fields I need the user to be able to edit is a select one from file question - the feature layer being edited in experience builder is linked to a survey form built in Survey123 Connect. This all looks good in the survey form itself and it displays the values in the csv choice list.

The problem is that this question does not display as a select one question in the Edit Widget. Instead it only allows for text to be entered. The whole point is that the user will be able to select from a predefined list to minimise typing mistakes.

The other select one questions (straight choice list in the xls rather than external csv choice list) display as they should (combo box dropdown).

Does anyone know how I can get this question to display as a dropdown in the edit pane on experience builder.

You should be able to create a dropdown selection in the Edit widget by specifying a domain for the selected field in the Feature Class.  In AGOL, the navigate to the Feature Class details, then the Data tab, ... "Fields", then select the field, and finally, try the "Create List" button.

Thanks for the response,

I did look into this but it seems I can only manually add domain values. The csv is linked to another feature layer and I need the drop list to update as this feature layer does. I currently have a notebook running to update this csv every 15 minutes. This is working but I now need to figure out a way to be able to select a value from the choice list in experience builder.

It seems you should be able to use a script to update the feature class domain on AGOL, though I admittedly have not tried it yet:
