reproject LAS

trying to reproject an LAS file in ArcPro to use the Classify Ground Points tool. It gives the error that the file must be in a projected coordinate system. Its in NAD 1983 and the vertical coordinate system is the same.

Hi Hannah Bicking‌, 

Make sure you project you LAS file using the appropriate NAD 1983 Zone under the Projected Coordinate Systems.This can be done under data management tools, Projections and Transformations in ArcGIS Pro.  I believe you are currently using a Geographic Coordinate System and cannot be used within certain analysis.
