Hi all,
I am using the web version of Experience Builder to recreate/update our current public reporting application that is currently built with Crowdsource Reporter (CR). CR has been great for us, but I want to update the app with the more open customization of Experience Builder. To do this, I am using the Edit Widget to allow public users to submit new records to a hosted feature service. I am happy so far how the edit widget works for submitting data with one exception: I can't figure out how to notify the user that their data was submitted correctly.
In CR, you can make a custom submission message. with the edit widget, there is no built-in way to pop up a message letting the user know that their data was submitted.
I am hoping that there is a way to use the POST when an edit is submitted in order to pop up a text box letting users know it worked. Otherwise, it takes until the data and application refresh (I think 30 seconds is the shortest? Maybe 0.1 minutes?). Has anyone else tried to recreate the CR and been able to come up with a solution for the data submission message?
Thank you all for your help!
Andrew
