Related records in Experience Builder table widget

I would like to be able to add related records from the table widget in experience builder. I cannot find a way to do this at the moment (the only guidance I have found is by using the form).

You can see it in Map viewer like this when looking at the attribute table:

But there is not an option in the experience builder table widget.

For some context - we have an asset register of points, I would like to use a related table to keep details of change requests, so a request is submitted in the related table so it can be reviewed before the original record is updated - a kind of approvals process. Trouble is a. finding a user friendly way to do this from the table (where people are used to editing) and b. finding a way to flag these requests for review.

If anyone has a similar workflow would be interested to hear how you tackled this (even if not related to my original question re table widget)

Thanks

@HDolley, thanks for bringing it up. This feature will be available in the ExB table widget in the upcoming June 2025 release, at the end of this month.

@Shen_Zhangcan I just confirm - will you be able to add and edit related records in the table widget after this update? Thanks

I'm sorry that I missed one of your key points in your original post - adding a related record. Unfortunately, adding a related record will not be supported, but you can view&edit the existing related records.
