"Tab" Template doesn't work for widgets that interact with map

Hi, I really like the Sidebar template in Instant Apps and attempted to create the same functionality in Experience Builder using ArcGIS Online. I found the "Tab" template and started to build out the expandable widgets in the sidebar. This template works great for some widgets (Basemaps, Layer list, legend) but for widgets that interact with the map (draw, or edit) there is no "off" switch, so when you toggle back to layer list after making a drawing you can no longer interact with the map without drawing something.

Here I drew some boxes using the Draw and Measure Tool, then went to Layers tool and tried to click on the map and drew this purple box instead. Same thing happens with editing.

I am also having this issue, both in the Tab template, and when creating from a blank experience.

Hi @cchelf1 @JasonCityOfTacoma

Just want to make sure that I understand your expectations. Do you want to disable drawing/editing once the tool panel is closed? Currently it's not possible because the draw/edit will still take effect even if they are hidden.

@Shen_Zhang That is correct, a lot of our users just close the tool window and expect it to be disabled.

Yep! That is what we thought should happen and would help the user know what tools are enabled.
