Is there a way to get the feature selected from a filter within a filter widget to highlight or flash on the map? The actions only showing for the filter widget are zoom and pan.

I would use the query widget for this purpose.

Hi @Kyle_Kaskie,

Flash is currently not supported in Filter widget, could you describe a specific scenario for this requirement?

Thanks,

Ke

@Ke_Xu Thanks for the reply.

I have a filter widget setup that contains multiple ways a user can filter the map and table data. These are all pretty much boundaries (polygon layers within the map). For example: County and a USFS boundary are two different selections I've made available for the user to select from. When a user selects a County of their choice, data in the table is filtered, County boundary is filtered to the selected County, and the map is zoomed into the selected County. Right now all these boundary layers are turned off in the map and the boundary layer would have to be turned on manually for the user to see the actual boundary outline.

The functionality I was trying to accomplish was like that such as in the Dashboard application. In the dashboard you have the ability to turn on/off flash as an option for the filter. So even when the layer is turned off in the map, it will still zoom the that area and flash the boundary that was selected.
